North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are investigating after a body was found in a tent near the Cowichan River.
Police said foul play is not suspected and next of kin are being notified.
The family of Ben Kilmer, a Cobble Hill man who has been missing since May 16, said RCMP confirmed to them that the body found was not Kilmer’s.
The body was found near Duncan’s Black Bridge.
