Man nabbed in confinement case

second suspect sought

A man wanted in the alleged confinement last week of a 16-year-old boy in Nova Scotia was suffering from exposure when arrested in northern Ontario, police said Monday.

The Ontario Provincial Police said David James Leblanc was arrested Sunday evening on a road in Greenstone, about 250 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, Ont., after a nearly weeklong search.

Leblanc, 47, was found wandering along the road with no shoes and in light clothing as temperatures hovered around the freezing mark.

Police are also looking for 31-year-old Wayne Alan Cunningham, who they said could be headed to Calgary in a grey 2003 Hyundai Elantra with Nova Scotia license plate FBP 233.

Both men face charges of forcible confinement and sexual assault.
