Michael Skakel , a nephew of former U.S. attorney general Robert F. Kennedy, was denied parole Wednesday in his first attempt to persuade authorities he has served enough of his 20-years-tolife prison sentence for the 1975 murder of his young neighbour.

Skakel, 52, maintains his innocence in the murder of 15-yearold Martha Moxley. He was convicted in 2002. - Reuters
