Six school-age youths robbed an individual heading home from a James Bay grocery store on a skateboard Tuesday night, Victoria police say.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Menzies Street near James Bay Square.
One person pointed a knife at the victim and took some of their belongings, police said.
In a statement, police said that they located the youths after searching the area and were able to return what was stolen.
A youth with a knife was arrested and released with a future court date, police said.
Police said they could not reveal further details due to the ongoing investigation, but deterring youth violence is a primary concern.
