A 33-foot yacht, two businesses and two homes have been searched by Victoria and Saanich police as part of a lengthy drug investigation.

A 40-year-old man was linked to all five locations, where separate search warrants were carried out in the space of an hour. The man, described by police as a “high-level” drug dealer, was arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop at Douglas and Finlayson streets.

The searches also led to the arrest of another 40-year-old man and three women in their late 20s.

An application will be made in court to have the yacht and several vehicles forfeited because officers believed they were used in the drug trade.
