A cyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision in Langford involving an RCMP officer in an unmarked police vehicle last week.
The Independent Investigations Office, which probes police-related cases resulting in death or serious harm, is investigating.
According to the IIO, the officer was travelling southbound in the 2500-block of Millstream Road when the incident occurred about 2:25 p.m.
The 2500-block of Millstream is near the Trans-Canada Highway.
The man’s injuries were described as serious by the IIO, but no further details were provided.
