Victoria police seek public’s help to find young Sooke man who left psychiatric care

Victoria police are asking for help finding Dennis Stork, a 21-year-old man who left the Royal Jubilee Psychiatric Centre on Friday and hasn’t been seen since.

Victoria police are asking for help finding Dennis Stork, a 21-year-old man who left the Royal Jubilee Psychiatric Centre on Friday and hasn’t been seen since.

The Sooke resident has mental illness issues and was in the care of Royal Jubilee doctors, who are concerned about his current state. He left the hospital around 3 p.m. on Friday.

Police have tried to contact and locate Stork without success. There is information he might have been in downtown Victoria.

There is a warrant issued for Stork’s apprehension so that he may be returned to medical facilities for care.

He is described as white, five foot 11 and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue sweater and brown pants. If you see him, call your local police department or Victoria police at 250-995-7654.
