Victoria police release image of suspect in unprovoked attack

Victoria police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect in a case where a man punched a stranger in the face in the Quadra and Hillside area in November, in an unprovoked assault.

Police said the victim was walking near the intersection of Kings Road and Fifth Street about 11 p.m. on Nov. 22 and was approached by an unknown man and punched in the face.

The victim was seriously injured.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man in his 20s, six feet fall with a slim build, and wearing a green hoodie and black track pants.
