Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services is currently battling a 3-alarm fire in a vacant 2-story warehouse at 730 Terminal Avenue.
According to a release, the 911 call came in at 6:09 am.
When firefirefighters arrived on scene, the building was fully ablaze. They entered, but the blaze intensified and the firefighters were forced to retreat to a defensive mode, fighting the blaze from outside as it burned through the roof.
There are currently 40 firefighters on scene fighting the fire.
There are no injuries to report and the cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
