Shaw suffers two-hour Internet outage on south Island

Shaw Internet was out for about two hours Monday afternoon, beginning around 3:20 p.m. The main areas affected were Vancouver Island from Nanaimo south, and the Lower Mainland, with people unable to connect to the Internet.

Shaw customers were affected in two areas: south of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, and the Lower Mainland.

Shaw Internet was out for about two hours Monday afternoon, beginning around 3:20 p.m.

The main areas affected were Vancouver Island from Nanaimo south, and the Lower Mainland, with people unable to connect to the Internet.

A cause is still being determined.
