Saanich Commonwealth Place will close between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday for a planned power outage in the surrounding area.
B.C. Hydro will be performing essential work during that time, said Saanich spokesperson Adam Flint.
The facility will run as normal from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and resume operations after 4 p.m. until closing. Kattia’s Kitchen, The Shop, and the facility’s main reception will be closed for the day.
The Bruce Hutchinson branch library will also be closed during the power outage and resume operations after 4 p.m. Library return bins will remain open during that time.
