B.C. Ferries has reinstated four sailings on the Coastal Celebration between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen, after resolving mechanical problems that saw cancellations earlier Friday.
“The earlier mechanical difficulty on the Coastal Celebration has been resolved,” B.C. Ferries said at 8:07 a.m. Friday. “The vessel will sail as scheduled for the remainder of the day.”
Earlier Friday, the vessel’s noon and 4 p.m. sailings out of Swartz Bay and the 2 and 6 p.m. sailings out of Tsawwassen were cancelled.
B.C. Ferries said the Coastal Celebration had experienced difficulty with its No. 2 drive motor.
