A Saanich karaoke bar was robbed by a man with a knife Monday night.
Around 7 p.m., a man went into the T.T. Mix karaoke bar at 3690 Shelbourne St. and told the lone female clerk he had a knife and wanted money, said Saanich police acting Sgt. Jon Semkiw.
The man, described as white, mid-30s, six feet tall, medium build, wearing a grey coat and dark pants, ran off with some cash. He ran north on Shelbourne Street.
Saanich police are investigating the theft. Anyone with information can call the Saanich police non-emergency line at 250-475-4321.
