Province holding information session on Ravine Way area upgrades

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is hosting an information session about transit and active transportation upgrades to the Ravine Way area on Wednesday.

Ministry staff will present proposed designs for the area between Highway 1 and Vernon Avenue.

The ministry is seeking feedback on plans to enhance transit infrastructure, support transit-oriented development, promote active transportation, improve connections between travel modes and enhance options for people travelling by bus, foot, bicycle, wheelchair or scooter.

Ministry staff will provide an overview of designs, answer questions and take feedback.

The information session takes place May 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Hill Golf Course at 1400 Derby Rd. in Saanich.
