Residents who see any water flowing from their properties are asked to report it to the CRD’s emergency line.

The Capital Regional District is urging Port Renfrew residents to conserve water and avoid any non-essential water use such as doing dishes and laundry.

The CRD says the water-distribution system is currently experiencing extremely low pressure, and operators are trying to determine where potential leaks may be coming from in the system. It says the problem may be related to recent frigid temperatures.

Residents who see any water flowing from their properties are asked to report it to the CRD’s emergency line at 1-855-822-4426.
