Police seek woman seen carrying wrong bags out of Comox Valley Airport

The bags, which contained a CPAP machine, prescription medication and expensive electronics, might have been taken by mistake, but they have not been returned, police said

Police hope to identify a woman alleged to have taken someone else’s bags from Comox Valley Airport last month.

Comox Valley RCMP have released a surveillance photo of a woman carrying two bags from the airport about 1:30 p.m. on March 8.

The bags might have been taken by mistake, but they have not been returned, police said.

They contained a CPAP machine, prescription medication and expensive electronics.

“We would like to get these bags back to their rightful owner,”said Const. Monika Terragni. “So we are releasing a picture of the person who was seen carrying the bags out of the airport. If you know who this is, please give us a call.”

Whoever took the bags left the airport in a small red vehicle.

The woman in the photo has short grey hair and is wearing a bright yellow jacket and black pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Comox Valley RCMP at 240-338-1321.
