Oak Bay police are searching for a suspect in a Monday afternoon robbery at TD Canada Trust on Cadboro Bay Road, near Foul Bay Road.
Police said a gloved man wearing sunglasses and with a blue bandana covering part of his face entered the bank about 3:40 p.m. He showed a teller a can of mace and demanded money.
He was given cash and ran away. He was last seen heading north on Foul Bay Road.
The robber is described as 23 to 25 years old, about five foot eight and having a slim build. He was wearing a blue Los Angeles Dodgers cap, a blue Adidas jacket and blue jeans.
