A B.C. forestry official said Wednesday that a wildfire on the western hillside above Okanagan Lake has been extinguished.
Michaela Swan said the evacuation alert that went into effect Monday for 70 properties was lifted after a crew doused the blaze caused by a lightning strike Sunday.
