A novice driver was nabbed on Cedar Hill Cross Road this week going close to three times the legal limit.
Oak Bay police clocked a 19-year-old man there just after midnight Wednesday travelling at 134 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. The teen had a “novice” driver’s licence.
Police previously stopped a driver on the same road about 11 p.m. May 4 for going 117 kilometres per hour in a 50 km/h zone,
In both cases, the vehicles were impounded and the drivers were fined $483 for excessive speed.
