A new website has been set up to provide easy-to-find mental-health and substance abuse information and support.

Minister of Mental Health and Addictions Sheila Malcolmson said: “People seeking mental-health and substance use supports have told me finding information is hard, and they don’t know where to start.”

The new website was designed to be a user-friendly starting place for people to get access to what they need.

It has a guided search tool to help those signing in find a personalized list of services after they answer simple questions.

It is expected to be especially useful for those seeking help for the first time and those who need extra guidance in learning about the information and supports that are available, a ministry statement said.

The website includes how to find ways to support children or youth, adults, parent or caregivers, seniors, Indigenous persons, 2SLGBTQ+ persons, people who use drugs, service providers and post-secondary students.
