Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a 31-year-old man wanted for arson, possession of stolen property and theft over $5,000.
Jordan Mackie is alleged to have stolen a landscaping truck and trailer along with another person in November, before driving to a remote location and setting them on fire.
The two ran off but were located with help from a police dog and arrested.
Mackie later appeared in court but has since missed several court appearances, resulting in warrants being issued for his arrest. The other person thought to be involved is currently before the courts.
Mackie is described as white, five-foot-nine and 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
