Vancouver Police say 10 more sex-related charges have been laid against a former lifeguard.

The changes came after more victims came forward with allegations against 70-year-old Abe Kiewiet, who now faces a total of 22 charges.

The charges involve 10 people, both men and women, who ranged in age from 12 to 16 at the time of the alleged incidents dating as far back as 1976.

Kiewiet, who was employed by the Vancouver Park Board as a lifeguard during that time, is accused of eight counts of indecent assault on a male, three of indecent assault on a female, and 11 counts of gross indecency.

The first charges, involving four victims, were laid in September.

Police say there may be more victims, both locally and outside B.C., and they're asking anyone with information on the case to come forward.
