Asher Loenen, a 15 year-old Saanich resident who was missing since Wednesday morning, has been found safe and sound in the Fraser Valley region outside of Vancouver.
Loenen had disappeared around 9:30 on Wednesday and Saanich police initially thought he was heading to the U.S. border.
According to Saanich Police Sgt Steve Eassie, Loenen was found by a family friend assisting the search and has been reunited with some of his family members.
