The driver of a van was hospitalized Thursday morning after going off the Trans-Canada Highway following what appeared to be a medical issue.
The van was headed north about 9:30 a.m. near Helmcken Road before it headed onto a grass median and collided with a large sign.
No information was available on the driver’s condition.
The incident affected traffic for some time.
