A man was taken to hospital Saturday night after a stabbing in downtown Sidney.
Sidney-North Saanich RCMP said they received a report of a stabbing about 11 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Beacon Avenue and Fifth Street.
Officers responded and found a man suffering from serious injuries.
The man was taken to hospital, where he remained on Monday, RCMP said.
Officers are currently gathering evidence and looking for a male suspect.
Police do not believe there is a risk to the general public.
