There will be no construction or lane closings on the Malahat this weekend, the Transportation Ministry announced Thursday.
Travellers are still advised to avoid travelling during peak traffic times this afternoon and evening as well as on Monday afternoon and evening.
Construction speed limits are still in effect.
The work to widen the Malahat and install median barriers is expected to conclude by July 20.
