A landslide that temporarily blocked traffic on Highway 28 on Thursday was cleared by mid-afternoon Friday, DriveBC says.

The slide occurred 37 kilometres west of Campbell River on the stretch of the Gold River highway running from Western Mine Road to Cedar Creek Road.

The highway had previously been reopened to single-lane, alternating traffic.
