A dog attack on a 10-year-old girl in Colwood is being investigated by West Shore RCMP.
West Shore Acting Sgt. Mike Holmes said the attack happened Saturday. B.C. Ambulance attended and took the girl to hospital.
The Captal Regional District’s animal control officer was contacted. The dog’s owner reportedly left the scene and has not contacted police.
The attack occurred during a birthday party on the property of David Cameron Elementary School in Colwood.
