Travel on BC Transit buses will be free this Canada Day in Campbell River and the Comox Valley.
BC Transit’s eight routes in Campbell River and 15 routes in the Comox Valley will be operating on a Saturday schedule on July 1, with free travel on all routes.
Buses on Salt Spring Island will run on Saturday schedules to align with ferry timings, according to a notice on the BC transit website.
Nanaimo buses will also run on a Saturday schedule, while Cowichan Valley and Port Alberni will use a Sunday schedule. Greater Victoria will also run on a Sunday schedule, with extended late-night service until 2 a.m.
