Firefighters tended to a house fire that broke out early Tuesday afternoon at 6088 Grandview Rd. in Port Alberni.
Emergency crews from the Beaver Creek, Sproat Lake and Port Alberni fire departments were on the scene.
Personnel from the B.C. Ambulance Service and B.C. Hydro were also present.
According to Beaver Creek Fire Chief Charlie Starratt, the fire began in the chimney and quickly spread to the roof.
No one was injured in the blaze.
