Fire broke out in a condominium on Morrison Street in Victoria forcing one resident out of their home early Friday evening.
Residents were allowed back into the building after the blaze was extinguished.
Damage is visible on the exterior where a vertical row of balconies was burned. No one was injured.
The fire started in a second floor unit and was mainly contained to the exterior of the building, a Victoria Fire Department official said. Only the occupant of that unit was unable to return to the building.
The cause is being investigated, he said.
