Shawnigan Lake RCMP are asking the public to keep an eye out for a unique truck that was stolen overnight Thursday.
The owner of the bright yellow Ford F550 flat-bed truck called police about 8 a.m. Thursday, after the secure compound the truck was stored in in the 3300-block of the Trans-Canada Highway was broken into.
Police are asking anyone who was in the Millstream area early Thursday and has video footage to see if it shows the truck, since it might have been spotted there about 2 a.m.
The truck has a red tank strapped to its deck and the logo “Rental Zip” on its doors. Its licence number is PH6784.
