Nanaimo RCMP are looking for an 18-year-old who has not been seen since Sunday night.

Daniel Little left his home in central Nanaimo sometime after 10 p.m. and has not been seen or heard from since.

His disappearance is out of character, said Nanaimo RCMP spokesman Const. Gary O’Brien, and his family and friends are worried for his safety.

“Little is considered a responsible young man with full-time employment and no known health or personal issues,” O’Brien said.

He does not have a driver’s licence and uses a bike or scooter for transportation, both of which are still at the family home.

Family members have tried repeatedly to reach him on his cellphone but it has not been activated for the past 24 hours.

Little is white, five-foot-two and about 140 pounds with short dark hair.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
