Travellers might want to keep an eye on road and air conditions as dense fog is expected in Greater Victoria through this morning.
Environment Canada issued a statement about an upper ridge of high pressure forming over the coast.
Fog is expected to develop as a result and not thin out until late today or early Saturday. It could persist until early next week.
Limited visibility was reported on parts of Highway 1, Highway 28, Highway 30 and Mount Washington Road and Head Bay Road on Thursday night.
