A new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll voted Seinfeld the best television series of all time. The sitcom, broadcast from 1989 to 1998, was deemed “the greatest television show of all time” by TV Guide magazine.

A Montreal Gazette report described Seinfield’s Dec. 1 standup comedy show  “as comfy as a pair of old slippers.”

The review continued: “At 58, he can still captivate by riffing on life’s minutiae. He may not have the angst or edge or darkness of a Louis C.K. while he rips into everything from coffee to electronics to marriage, but there is still something so reassuring about his high-pitched nasal rants — whines? —  and so, dare we say, lovable, too.”
