A woman driving her two children to Goldstream Park Friday rolled her car after she turned abruptly into an access road.

Cpl. Scott Brais of West Shore RCMP said the woman was unfamiliar with the park’s main entrance.

She made a sharp turn onto the access road leading to group campsites near Ice Cream Mountain, but the vehicle ran up a guy wire supporting a utility pole and overturned.

The driver and her children were taken to hospital for observation but were not seriously hurt, Brais said. — Times Colonist
