Campbell River RCMP have identified two people found dead in a vehicle as 54-year-old Roy Richard Stotz and 24-year-old Elvira Tagieva.
Both were from Campbell River.
Campbell River RCMP do not suspect foul play in their deaths.
Mounties were called to the 3800 block of the highway in south Campbell River after the bodies of an adult man and woman were found Wednesday inside an SUV parked near the ocean, said Cpl. Gord Hay.
A RCMP forensic identification team was called in but the deaths are not considered criminal.
The B.C. Coroners Service is now leading the investigation.
