North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP have released security-camera footage linked to an August incident where five school buses at Queen Margaret’s School in Duncan were extensively damaged.
The footage shows a man walking toward the lot where the buses were parked at 660 Brownsey Ave. and damaging the vehicles.
School staff called police about 8 a.m. Aug. 24 after discovering the damage, which took place either the evening of Aug. 23 or early Aug. 24.
The suspect is described as 16 to 30 years old with a slim build and long hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, shorts and a T-shirt, and was carrying a backpack.
