Butchart Gardens, the city’s most popular tourist attraction, has announced a two-week closure starting later this month.
The goal is to give staff a break after a “difficult year,” the Brentwood Bay attraction said in a news release Thursday.
The gardens will be closed to the public from Jan. 23 to Feb. 5 inclusive.
Twelve-month pass holders for 2023 will get a 14-day extension into 2024, said the gardens.
Butchart Gardens will reopen on Feb. 6.
