Gabriola Island RCMP are investigating after a man’s body was found Sunday in the ocean off Gabriola Island.
Police said criminality is not suspected.
Officers responded about 2 p.m. to a report of a body in the water on the east side of the island in the area of Dragons Lane.
The man has been identified as a non-island resident.
The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating.
