A portion of the Lochside Trail was closed Thursday morning after a man’s body was discovered under the bridge at Carey Road and Ravine Way, near Uptown mall.
Saanich police were alerted just before 8 a.m. Thursday.
The trail was closed from Darwin Road toward the Switch Bridge at the Galloping Goose Trail until 12:30 p.m.
Police said the death does not appear to be suspicious.
The B.C. Coroners Service attended and will conduct its own investigation.
