Saanich police say several items were taken from a ground-level storage area on Linwood Avenue between Dec. 9 and 13, including two Scotty downriggers and two Specialized Crosstrail mountain bikes. Police said the storage area might have been accidentally left unlocked. If anyone has information, call Saanich police at 250-475-4321 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
