Comox Valley RCMP made an arrest after receiving complaints about a man who allegedly exposed himself while riding a bicycle.

The first of three reports was made by a group women who said they were walking on a path in Idiens Park, near a play structure off Idiens Way, about 11:30 a.m. Friday when a man on a bike passed them several times before allegedly exposing himself and masturbating in front of them.

The same day, two female youths walking on a path parallel to Sheraton Road at Cummings Road said they were passed multiple times by a man on a bike who exposed himself and masturbated in front of them.

Just after midnight on Sunday, a woman reported she was was followed by a man who was exposing himself near the intersection of Anderton and Guthrie roads.

Officers were able to contain the area and arrested a suspect with help from a police dog.

The suspect matched the description from the previous incidents — a man in his 20s with brown wavy hair and red facial hair — and it is believed that the same person might have been responsible for all three cases.

Police are looking for anyone with video surveillance from homes in the areas where the incidents occurred. Contact the Comox Valley RCMP Major Crime Unit at 250-338-1321.
