Advance voting in the Langford-Juan de Fuca byelection starts Friday, June 16.

Voters can cast a ballot June 16-21 at Crossing at Belmont, 110-955 Reunion Ave., Langford; SEAPARC Leisure Complex, 2168 Phillips Rd., Sooke; and the district electoral office, 110‑955 Reunion Ave., Langford.

Additional advance voting polls are open June 16-19 at Four Points Sheraton, 829 McCallum Rd., Langford, and June 20-21 at Gordon United Church, 935 Goldstream Ave., Langford.

All locations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To vote in the byelection, you must be:

• a resident of the Langford-Juan de Fuca electoral district

• 18 or older on June 24, 2023

• a Canadian citizen

• a resident of B.C. since Dec. 23, 2022

Premier David Eby called byelections last month to fill two seats following the resignations of Horgan and former cabinet minister Melanie Mark, who represented Vancouver-Mount Pleasant.

Election day in both ridings is Saturday, June 24.
