This last five days have been a real challenge for me. I have come down with the cold and flu bug that has been going around Victoria, and I haven't been able to do much more then sleep.

This last five days have been a real challenge for me. I have come down with the cold and flu bug that has been going around Victoria, and I haven't been able to do much more then sleep. I had to miss my workout yesterday and was very disappointed, my workouts are my favorite part of the week now.  Trying to stay on track with my food plan while being sick was also a problem, I didn't eat badly by any means but i was not able to get all the food groups that I have been eating for the the last 3 weeks. My energy level has definitely taken a hit from this bump in road but I am hopeful that by the end of the week I am back to 100%.

Hard but rewarding.... My trainer Zeke is awesome, as well as the other staff at Pacific Institute of Sport Excellence (PISE). I am done week 3 now and it's just as hard as I thought it would be, but I do look forward to my workouts on my days off. I have met my nutritionist Katherine and she had many healthy ideas for my diet. I have been adjusting my eating and it has been good so far! I have been tired for the last few days from all these changes happening but I am looking forward to the results that are to come. I can never say enough thank you's to the wonderful team that is behind the health club. The opportunity that they have given me is truly life changing.
