The Chabad of Vancouver Island invites Victorians to the opening of Hanukkah celebrations with a Menorah-lighting ceremony in front of the legislature on Sunday.
Rabbis and community leaders, along with federal and provincial government officials, will be on hand for the ceremony on the second night of Hanukkah.
There will be a musical performance by the 5th (B.C.) Field Regiment, Canadian Military Brass Band. After the ceremony, participants can enjoy Hanukkah doughnuts and take home dreidels and Menorah kits.
