KID STUFF

Modern-day trick or treaters can get a taste of Halloweens past this Sunday as the Royal B.C. Museum's Wonder Sunday looks at old-time spooky fun.

Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and will get a chance to go trick or treating in the museum's Old Town exhibit, depicting a Victoria street from about the 19th century.

Kids can practise broom skills and learn how to cast spells.

Kim Gough, museum program co-ordinator, said participants will also be asked questions they have to answer from looking at the exhibit.

Wonder Sunday is an interactive event on the last Sunday of every month at the museum.

The November Wonder Sunday is expected to look at maps and the community.

Halloween Wonder Sunday runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
