Islands Trust’s offices are reopening with new measures designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Victoria office opened Tuesday, following openings at the Salt Spring Island and Gabriola Island sites.
For the time being, the Victoria location will be open to the public Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Peter Luckham, chairman of Island Trust Council, said meeting and events will continue to be conducted online, including the Sept. 15-16 Trust Council meeting.
The Islands Trust Climate Change Speaker Series starts Sept. 29 with a webinar on rainwater harvesting.
Plexiglass shields at counters and a limited number of people inside offices are among the steps being taken against COVID.
