Pacifica Housing will hold an open house today for people interested in renting one of the 108 affordable units at its new Wilson’s Walk building.

Wilson’s Walk will provide affordable housing for low-to moderate-income singles and families. The property is minutes away from the downtown core and also has easy access to shops and amenities including the Victoria West Park and the Galloping Goose Trail.

“We wanted to hold an open house so that all of the people interested in this new building can come down to have a tour and begin the process of applying for a unit,” said Dean Fortin, executive director of Pacifica Housing. “We are very excited to give over 100 people a new home in a beautiful building.”

The units will rent for $700 for a bachelor unit, $800 for a one-bedroom unit and $1,400 for a three-bedroom unit. The units will be available for occupancy later this month.
The open house runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the property, 105 Wilson St.

Pacifica Housing is a provider of affordable housing and support services in Greater Victoria, Duncan and Nanaimo. It manages 33 buildings totalling 950 units, providing homes for more than 1,500 people.
