Help bring a tradition of the past back to life at a Clog Dancing Workshop on Wednesday at Centennial United Church.

Clog dancing is a form of step dance, with performers typically wearing wooden-soled shoes. The most intricate form of the dance evolved from the north of England: Lancashire, Yorkshire, Durham and the Lake District.

On Wednesday, get your feet moving to the rhythm of Bluegrass and old-time music under the tutelage of Reggie Paisley.

The workshop is $15 for general admission or $10 for Victoria Bluegrass Association members. The event runs 7 to 9 p.m. May 9 at Centennial United Church, 612 David St. Please send an email to [email protected] to confirm your attendance.
